Marriage Ceremonies

Marriage ceremonies are performed by Judges. All Judges are able to perform ceremonies in Spanish.  Ceremonies are performed after hours and at the North Town Coffeehouse, 32 N. Front Street, Yakima, Wa. Fees will vary depending on time of day, day of week, and location of the marriage ceremony. See fee list below.

Important Notes

  • After 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, Judge will quote fee.
  • Fees for marriages outside of the North Town Coffeehouse location at 32 N. Front Street in Yakima, Wa.  are set by the Judge.
  • Judges may perform the marriage ceremony three days after the date the marriage license was issued. Marriage licenses may be obtained in the Yakima County Auditor's office on the first floor of the Yakima County Courthouse.
  • You must appear at the ceremony with two competent witnesses. A competent witness is someone who is capable of understanding the nature of the proceeding.

Scheduling an Appointment

Complete the Wedding Appointment Form above and either select submit or print the form and return it to the Yakima County District Court office or our Grandview location. You may also mail it to either location. If you submit the form electronically through this website a staff person will contact you.
