Delinquent & Time Pay Accounts:
All delinquent accounts are handled by the District Court collections section in Room 217, Yakima County Courthouse. If you are unable to make your scheduled payment on time, you must contact the collections section in person on or before the payment due date.
If your account is current, but you need an extension of time to pay, you must come to the collections window in Room 217, Yakima County Courthouse, to fill out a time payment extension form.
If you already have the extension form:
- read the instructions on the form and complete both the front and the back.
- bring your completed form, proof of any income and monthly expenses with you in person by the due date.
No extensions will be authorized without proper documentation.

How can I pay my ticket in full?
You may appear in person at the counter in Rm 225 of the Yakima County District Courthouse with either cash, check/money order or credit/check card to pay your ticket in full.
Please present your case number and tell the cashier you want to pay your ticket.
If you choose to mail in your payment in full, you should first call the Yakima County District Court to find out the payoff amount.
You can mail in either a check or money order. Please include your case number.
To pay your ticket by credit or debit card, please call our reception line. They will forward you to the next available cashier. Please have your case number ready at the time you call.
