Norma Gordon

The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office is currently attempting to locate a 50 y/o female who has been missing from her home in the East Valley area since approximately 1:30 pm yesterday.
Mr. Gordon returned home from work yesterday afternoon and found his wife, Mrs. Norma Gordon, missing from the home in the 200 block of Windy Ridge Lane. After searching on his own for some time, he reported his wife missing to the YCSO at approximately 10pm yesterday evening. Neighbors had reported seeing Mrs. Gordon walking westbound on Postma Road, from Windy Ridge Lane, at about 1:30 yesterday afternoon. She has not been seen since that time.
Mrs. Gordon’s husband reported that his wife has no local friends or relatives. She does not have a cell phone.
Mrs. Gordon was last believed to have been wearing blue pants or jeans, boots, and a black hooded sweatshirt. She was also reportedly carrying a blanket and her small black Chihuahua dog when she was last seen walking westbound on Postma Rd.
Mrs. Gordon is described as 5’3”, 110 lbs, brown hair, and brown eyes. Her most recent DL photograph is attached.
Deputies searched the residence and surrounding buildings, and then the Yakima County Search and Rescue unit was activated. A search coordinator is in place, and units are expected to continue the search through the night and into the daylight hours. As of 0200 hrs, there were 14 search personnel assigned, including one canine unit.
