Assistant Director—Transportation
The Transportation Services Division is responsible for 1657 Miles of Roads, 22 Miles of Railroad, 310 Bridges, 865 Culverts, and 11 Miles of Trail Corridor.
ADMINISTRATION
Management of operations, funding, accounting, planning and project development of Yakima County transportation network.
CONSTRUCTION
Administration of surveying, inspection and oversight of Yakima County road improvement projects.
ENGINEERING
Preliminary engineering, specification and graphic design plans for Yakima County road projects
RIGHT OF WAY
Yakima County’s real estate services and support. County property acquisition, surplus, and appraisals.
TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING
Design and operation of traffic control devices, traffic data collection, development review, and transportation planning
ROAD MAINTENANCE
Maintenance of county right of way and drainage systems (roads, bridges, vegetation management, snow removal, signing and striping.)
