     SERVICES PROVIDED:  The objective is to provide a safe shelter for
     emotionally and/or physically-abused women and their children.  Services
     include support, counseling, shelter, food, clothing, transportation, legal
     and medical assistance.  Because the purpose of the program is to help the
     whole family end the cycle of violence, the program also offers counseling
     to the man who batters.  Individual and group sessions are arranged by
     appointment.

     ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:  Emotionally- or physically-abused
     women, with or without children - Anyone whose life is affected by violence
     in the home.

     AREA SERVED:  Yakima and Kittitas counties.

     FEES:  Dependent on type of services rendered.

     HOURS:  24 hours daily, 7 days a week.

     REFERRAL PROCEDURE:  Call 248-7796 at any hour.

     WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE:  No, stairs prevent wheelchair accessibility.
