SERVICES PROVIDED:  In addition to its primary mission of serving the
chemically dependent, Yakima Human Services, d/b/a Dependency Health
Services, offers a full range of individual and family counseling services to the
community.  These services may or may not involve underlying substance abuse
issues.  Specific services include voluntary and court-ordered anger management
and domestic violence counseling, parenting skills training, and student
assistance programs to support school counseling teams.  In conjunction with
Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health, Yakima Human Services also
offers a comprehensive employee assistance program for employers interested in
strengthening employee performance and satisfaction.  A special outreach
program for at-risk youth offers assessment, advocacy, counseling, and referral
services for youth in need of shelter, food, medical services, education, or
employment.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:  Services are available without restriction to all
Yakima County youth ages 10 through 17 who need help.

FEES:  Services offered on a fee-for-service basis, using sliding-fee scale. 
Special funding programs for many recipients.  Medical coupons accepted for
some services.

HOURS:  Services available 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
