     SERVICES PROVIDED:  Efforts are to insure protection of Indian children
     when their wellbeing is threatened by neglect or abuse.  Services offered
     include prevention counseling to families who are at risk of having their
     children removed from the home; individual and family counseling to
     resolve family and parent/child conflicts; short-term placement in Indian
     foster homes until the child(ren) can be reunited with the family;
     permanency planning, including adoption, for Indian children who need
     long-term placement in Indian homes; recruitment and licensing of Indian
     family foster homes; and information, referral and advocacy services to
     community resources that will be beneficial to families and children.

     ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:  Foster care available to all Indian families
     and children.  Licensing of host family foster homes open to any interested
     families both on and off the reservation.

     AREA SERVED:  Yakima Indian Nation and surrounding areas.

     FEES:  None

     HOURS:  8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except State and
     Tribal holidays).

     REFERRAL PROCEDURE:  Referrals are received from individuals,
     agencies, schools, courts and health care facilities.  For further information,
