Marriage Ceremonies

Marriage ceremonies are performed by Judges of the District Court. All Judges are able to perform ceremonies in Spanish. Ceremonies are performed after hours and at 16 East “A” Street. Fees will vary depending on time of day, day of week, and location of marriage ceremony. See fee list below.

- After 5:30 pm Monday thru Friday, Judge will quote fee.
- Fees for marriages outside of the “A” Street location are set by the Judge.
Judges may perform the marriage ceremony three days after the date the marriage license was issued. Marriage licenses may be obtained in the recording office on the first floor of the Yakima County Courthouse.
You must appear at the ceremony with two competent witnesses. A competent witness is someone who is capable of understanding the nature of the proceeding.
