Inmate Telephone Service

Inmates have the ability to place collect, pre-paid collect and debit calls. Pre-paid collect and debit account options are setup and funded by friends and family members of the inmates.

Collect Calls

When receiving a call, you will first hear a pre-recorded message stating the correctional facility’s name and the name of the inmate who is asking you to receive the collect call. At that point you can:

Pre-Paid Calls

Not all telephones can accept collect calls (including cell phones). In order to receive calls to these particular telephones you will need to setup a pre-paid collect account for your telephone number or you can fund the inmate’s facility debit account. To setup a pre-paid collect account or to fund an existing account, you will need to call Securus Technologies directly at 1-800-844-6591 or go to www.securus.net. Pre-paid collect accounts are setup for particular phone numbers and will only allow the inmate to dial the number setup on the account. Funding an inmate’s debit account will allow the inmate to dial any telephone number as approved by the facility.

Calling Rules

There is a 15-minute telephone call time limit. After 15 minutes, the telephone call will automatically disconnect.

Telephone Charges (per call)

Collect call charges (calls paid for by the called party which show up on phone bill):

Local Collect Call:
$1.00 connection fee and 10¢/minute (maximum 15 minutes)
Any other call on the Eastside of the State that is not considered local:
$1.50 connection fee and 10¢/minute (maximum 15 minutes)
All other calls to Westside of the State:
$1.50 connection fee and 10¢/minute (maximum 15 minutes)
Inter-state:
12¢/minute, if debit or pre-paid collect call
14¢/minute, if standard collect
Notes:
  1. Maximum 15 minutes regardless of payment type

This information will allow us to assist you and resolve your concern more quickly.

Will I receive a monthly statement?

No, but you have the option to hear your account balance every time you receive a call from the inmate.

What if the inmate is released? Will I receive a refund for the remaining funds on the account?

After I have used my $25.00 or $50.00 pre-paid amount, can I cancel the pre-paid account and have collect calls charged through my local telephone company?

Once telephone numbers are set up as a pre-paid account, customers are not able to switch to another form of billing.
