The Library is a well-stocked resource of official documents, studies, newsletters and articles pertaining to our organization, our community, and our economy. In particular, you will find the Workforce Council's Strategic and Operational Plans as well as other official documents of the Council.
Meetings / Calendar leads you to annoucements of upcoming events and meetings in our office, or among our partners. In particular, you can locate meeting agendas and minutes Council, Board and Youth Council meetings.
News is, of course, a compendium of news about economic and workforce topics. You will find articles about employment / unemployment, the Workforce Council actions and accomplishments, the local and state economies, and much, much more. The News page includes an archive of several years of workforce news.
Results takes you to reports and statistics that compare the goals of our programs with the actual outcomes acheived. They are broken down by program and contract, and compared to prior years as well as other areas within the state. You will also find, from time-to-time, narrative articles telling of real-life successes within our system.
Programs is a large section of our website, containing information about the various programs we administer. Included there are descriptions of each program, how it is funded, which agencies operate it, what it works to accomplish, and more. A study of these pages will give you a good picture of the role of the Workforce Council in the enhancement of the local business environment, and the betterment of our fellow citizens' lot.
Directory provides you with rosters of your staff here at the WDC office, and to your fellow Council and Youth Council members. Committee rosters are also found here.
