WWA Letter to Bill Kamela, who recently asked the WWA Legislative Committee for language suggestions on the reauthorization bill. At the same time, USCOM and other organizations developed their suggestions for language, and did excellent work. This is WWA's response to Bill, which takes into account both Senate Draft 405 which he provided, as well as the USCOM work.

WIA Reauthorization - The Bush Administration's Proposal

Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) is circulating a Dear Colleague Letter to support fully funding Title I to the Workforce Investment Act. The letter supports restoration of the $600 million in cuts to WIA programs in FY 2003 to the FY 2002 funding level.
