Alert – Yakima County District Court has been made aware of an email scam. The email originates from “County Court” The text of the email is as follows:

    “This is to inform you to appear in Court on the April 14 for your case hearing. Please, prepare all the documents relating to the case and bring them to Court on the specified date. Note: This case will be heard by the judge in your absence if you do not come. You can find the Court Notice is in the attachment.”

    The referenced attachment does not open. Please be advised that the Yakima County Courts do not send court notices via email. This is a scam.
