Incident Reported:         Missing Hunter

Narrative: 

Yakima County Sheriff’s Office received a request for Search & Rescue for:
An “overdue Hunter.”  The subject left his residence on Wednesday and was planning on staying over night and Bow hunting (by himself) Thursday.  Late Friday night the subject’s wife called the Sheriff’s office reporting him missing.  By early Saturday morning The YSO mountain Pass deputy had started a primary search while the SAR teams assembled. 

A search base camp was set up.  Snowmobile & 4x4 teams searched the area till dark with no luck in locating either the subject or his vehicle.
The Search will continue at daylight.

The Subject is a 47 year old male from the Yakima area. He is reported to be an experienced hunter, and is driving a 2006 Brown Ford F-150 pick-up.
