On 4/17/12, Yakima Co Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested two people in connection with the murder of Jose Manuel Correa. Correa was found dead in a nearly-empty canal on April 2, 2012. His death was determined to be the result of blunt force trauma to the head.

The two people, a 24 year-old male and a 19 year-old female, were booked into the Yakima Co Corrections facility. The intense investigation is continuing to develop information, and more arrests are expected.
