Beginning in 1999, we no longer will carry a mortgagor name and address on the property tax records. We will mail all tax-related correspondence, including tax statements, to the taxpayer of record. Most lenders are receiving property tax information from a tax service, so they receive a copy of all tax records via automated media with balances due. The taxpayer must verify that their mortgagor is paying timely and should determine whether their lender requires a hard copy of their tax bill.
