First Half Property Taxes are Due by April 30th.

Payments must be received or federally postmarked by April 30th to avoid additional interest and penalty charges.

Due to the current circumstances with the COVID-19 virus, we encourage payments be made by one of the many alternative options:

  • Taxes may be paid at the drive-thru, cash or check only.
  • Taxes may be paid online (there is a non-refundable convenience fee).
  • Taxes can be paid by phone at 866-888-0989 using an eCheck, VISA Debit or any major Credit Card (there is a non-refundable convenience fee).
  • There is a secure drop box located outside the entrance of the Courthouse and a secure drive-up drop box located across from the Courthouse on the north side of  Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Relief for BusinessesESHB 1332 was signed by the Governor on April 16, 2021 and allows businesses with a revenue loss of at least 25% for calendar year 2020 compared to calendar year 2019 to apply for an extension of payment on the unpaid 2021 real property taxes.  Eligible taxpayers must complete and submit the 2021 Request for Real Property Tax Due Date Extension & Payment Agreement Due to Revenue Loss, Provided in ESHB 1332 (Fill-in) 64-0116 by April 30, 2021 to the Yakima County Treasurer.
