  • The codlling moth, Cydia pomonella, is the key pest of commercial apples in Eastern Washington.
  • Codling moth is also a pest of European and Asian pear fruit.
  • Other crops - walnuts, prune/plum.
  • Outside host plants - Crabapples, hawthorn & quince.
