The state has reopened.

On June 30, Washington state reopened under the Washington Ready plan. All industry sectors previously covered by the Roadmap to Recovery or the Safe Start plan (with limited exceptions noted below) may return to usual capacity and operations.

Large Events

Vaccine verification or negative COVID-19 tests are recommended but not required for entry into large indoor and outdoor events. Indoor events with 10,000 or more people are limited to 75% capacity.

Statewide Mask Mandate

Gov. Jay Inslee has extended the state’s mask order to require masks be worn indoors in public spaces regardless of vaccination status beginning August 23, 2021. For more information on the mask mandate, visit our face mask guidance webpage.
