Law Library

The Yakima County Law Library (YCLL) maintains legal resources, both print and online, for the benefit of the local bar, judges of the state, state and county officials, and visiting attorneys upon request.

YCLL is located on 18 E. Lincoln Ave, in the "old Safeway" building where Facilities Services is also located.  It is in the NE corner of the one-story brick building with the entry facing North 1st Street.

The Law Library is NOW OPEN to patrons with assigned access badges:
Mon - Fri, 7am - 7pm and Sat, 9am - noon

Staff is available for PUBLIC ACCESS every Tues, 10am - 2pm and other days with appointments if staff is available.  Please call 509-574-2692 and leave a message with your desired date and time, and the librarian will return you call.

GREAT NEWS FOR WESTLAW USERS!!  If you aren’t able to visit the Law Library, you may get free remote access to Westlaw and Practical Law for 20 hours over 14 days.  It is available for a limited time, so take advantage and get access info, by calling 509-574-2692 or leave a message or email: or
