Yakima County is pleased to announce that Sandra Raymond has received a state wide award – Volunteer of the Year from the Misdemeanant Corrections Association. Sandra dedicates and donates an average of 25 hours a week to Yakima County Probation Services in the Grandview office and has done so for the past 4 years. During that time, she has gone from simply filing paperwork to processing court documents, entering data into our case management system, communicating with numerous treatment agencies concerning compliance and non-compliance issues, scheduling and rescheduling appointments as well as a number of other office duties. She interacts with clients on a daily basis and is always able to handle herself professionally, no matter what the situation. Sandra takes her volunteer work very seriously. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. Sandra is someone who can be depended on to get the job done. Her strong work ethic and attention to detail have made her a valuable asset to Probation Services and is well deserving of recognition for all her hard work and dedication.
