Changes Within Yakima County

If you are already registered to vote in Yakima County but you need to update your home or mailing address, contact us:

Within Washington

Did you move to a different county in Washington?  Transfer your registration online or print and mail a paper form to your new county elections department.
          
Name Changes         
We need your new signature, so submitting a new form is required:

  • Visit VoteWA if you've already updated your Washington driver's license or state ID. Your new signature from your license or ID will become your new signature on your voter registration record.
  • Print, sign and mail us a new form (PDF).

Deadlines
Register or update your registration no later than 29 days before an election.
 
 *If you are not currently registered to vote in Washington, you have until 8 days before an election to register in person at our office.

citizens who are not currently registered in Washington may register:

by mail or online - Applications must be received by the County Auditor's Office no later than 8pm on the day of the election.

Individuals already registered to vote in Washington may update their registration no later than 8 pm on the day of the election. SSB 6021; 2018

Registration deadlines do not apply to military and overseas voters.
