Yakima County has received one-time funds from the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) to procure and distribute emergency food to hunger relief organizations within Yakima County. Yakima County is seeking a partner to execute the activities for these funds.

Applications for the Procurement and Distribution of Emergency Food Resources RFP will be accepted between Thursday, October 31, 2024, and Friday, November 8, 2024, 3:00 pm PST.

Technical assistance can be requested directly from Human Service Department Staff. Help sessions can be provided via email, by phone, or in-person, and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Applicants are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments for technical assistance as early as possible, to ensure availability of staff time. Unauthorized contact regarding this RFP with County employees outside of the Human Services Department intended to circumvent the appropriate communication channels may result in disqualification.
