Temporary Food Events

A Temporary Food Event (TFE) permit allows you to prepare or serve food at short-term public events.

An event is considered public if it is advertised or open to anyone. Private events where food is shared for free and limited to members or select guests, do not need a temporary food permit.

Common public events include:

  • Church bazaars
  • Pop-up markets
  • Fairs, carnivals, or festivals
  • Fundraisers
  • Farmers or flea markets
