Employment Vendors and Providers

Employment service providers play a key role in providing assistance to job seekers with disabilities find employment, and in helping employers find talent to match their business needs . A priority is to also create an environment of inclusiveness in the community. What’s more, employment providers can provide ongoing supports to ensure the success of people with disabilities once on the job.

The Yakima Health District currently contracts with the following adult agencies to provide IE, CI, CDS and ITA throughout Yakima County.

Yakima Health District (YHD) announces the opportunity to provide Employment Services to adults with developmental disabilities in Yakima County. Services are to be provided to adults who are enrolled with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA).  

Completed Yakima Health District Developmental Disabilities RFQP Applications will be accepted continuously throughout the year at Yakima Health District. Please see below for more information and the vendor contract.

Request For Qualifications- Individualized Technical Assistance (ITA)

Yakima Health District (YHD) seeks qualified providers to provide Individualized Technical Assistance to employed or seeking-to-be-employed adults with developmental disabilities in Yakima County.  Services are to be provided to adults who are enrolled with the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA). 

Completed Yakima Health District Developmental Disabilities ITA Applications will be accepted continuously throughout the year at Yakima Health District. Send completed RFQ ITA Apps to dd@co.yakima.wa.us

A review committee will review all applications and make final determination of qualified providers using a review tool. Yakima Health District reserves the right to reject all requests and re-advertise for additional requests for qualifications.
