Mechanical Permit Requirements
A mechanical permit is required for:
✔ New equipment installation
✔ Replacement or change-out of equipment (prior to installation)
Emergency Repairs
⚠️ If equipment must be replaced or repaired in an emergency, the permit application must be submitted by the next business day to the Building Official.
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Equipment & Tank Permits
✔ LPG appliances and equipment serviced by an LPG tank require a permit.
✔ Exception: If a permit was previously issued for the LPG tank and a final inspection was approved, no additional permit is needed.
