Yakima County Department of Human Services serves as the CHG Lead for the county, and also oversees the local 2163 filing dollars. Awards for funding from these revenue streams are informed by the Five Year Plan, scored by the Competitive Process Scoring Committee (a subcommittee of the Yakima County Homeless Coalition), and awarded by the Board of County Commissioners.
Applications for the 2020-2022 grant cycle will be accepted between Tuesday, April 7, 2020 and Monday, May 4, 2020. Applications must be submitted online via the WizeHive portal. Details about the applications can be found here.
The Human Services department will host two Information Sessions to answer questions about the application process. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Information Sessions will be hosted online.
