Systems Mapping

Yakima County has conducted three systems maps, in partnership with Policy Research Associates (PRA), for the purpose of determining the immediate and achievable behavioral health needs within three of the primary systems of interest within Yakima County: the Criminal Justice System, the Homeless Response System, and the Youth System of Care.

The Criminal Justice Sequential Intercept Map (CJ SIM) explores how individuals become involved with and flow through the criminal justice system.

2022 Report

Yakima County published a Criminal Justice Sequential Intercept Map in 2022, based on workshops lead at the end of 2021.
