The Yakima County Courts provide accommodations for persons with disabilities who require assistance in order to participate fully and equally in Court programs, services or activities. Accommodation requests are granted to any person with a disability for whom such accommodation is necessary under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) (42 U.S.C. §§ 12101-12213), the Washington Law Against Discrimination (RCW 49.60 et seq.), or other similar local, state, and federal laws and Washington Supreme Court General Rule (GR) 33. For more information about accommodations please review the Yakima County Courts ADA policy and related forms below.
To request an accommodation, you can either print the Yakima County Courts Accommodation request form below and submit the completed forms to the Court Administration Office, or submit an online form requesting an accommodation by clicking the following link: Request for Accommodation.
Please plan ahead! Do not wait until the day of your hearing to submit your request for accommodation. The court may need additional time to provide a reasonable accommodation.
