2026 UGA Update
The Growth Management Act (GMA) requires as part of the Comprehensive Plan Update that Yakima County review urban growth areas (UGAs) for each of its fourteen cities and towns and revise them, if necessary, to accommodate the urban growth projected to occur in the County for the succeeding twenty-year period.
Yakima County is beginning the process to review the fourteen cities and towns for the 2026 update, as the process continues documents will be uploaded to this page.
